Dear
Arapahoe Warriors Hockey Player Parents,
It’s
the off season and we hope all of you are enjoying the short time you are away
from the rink. Next season is quickly approaching.
With
that said, The Arapahoe Warrior Booster Club is in search for volunteers…the
Club cannot exist without parent participation.
For
that matter, the entire organization cannot exist without volunteers. We
are planning to have two majors Booster Club fundraisers next year,
The
Early Bird Tournament and the Golf Tournament. These two events raise 90%
of the Booster Club funds. In the past, we have had
tremendous
amounts of involvement and volunteers, unfortunately most of the past volunteers
have older players no longer in the organization and
we have lost their involvement due to the natural progression of kids leaving
the organization.
We
are looking for many volunteers to include, but not limited to, a Director of
our annual Golf Tournament. The director will act as a
central point person to ensure the Golf Tournament is a success. We just
recently had 2 individual step up and became
Director and Co-Directors of the Early Bird Tournament. It is our
expectation that every team will participate in both fundraising events.
The
more parent participation we have this year, the more success we will have.
We really need every parent to come out and
participate in the booster club fundraisers and events. For those of you
who are unable to get out on the ice and coach, becoming a booster club
volunteer is a great way to give back. Our kids depend on us to make
their hockey experience the best it can be.
The
booster club meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
The next meeting is scheduled for July 14th.
