Arapahoe Ice Warriors Booster Club Minutes February 9, 2010  President David Kahn called the Arapahoe Ice Warriors Booster Club Meeting to order at 6:30PM on February 9, 2010. The following members were present: Alan Didas, Susan Didas, Shelly Cavey,  Ellie Avery, Kathy Dosen, Jill Hanafee, Lori Lomen, Paul Wicker, Bruno Sannes,  Sue Chiarmonte, Brian Johnson, Michelle Miller, David Kahn, Sal Mazzara, Mara’D Jahde, Karen Kirkpatrick, Kathy Johnson, Rick Cohen, Suzie Mulligan, and Dave Kohler. The following teams were represented: Squirt A, Squirt B-Navy, Squirt B-Maize,  Squirt C, PWAA, PWA-Navy, PWA-Maize, PWB, Bantam AA, Bantam A-Navy,  Bantam B, Midget Major AA, Midget Minor AA and Midget Minor A. Minutes from January 19, 2009 MOTION: Mara’D Jahde made a motion to approve the January 19, 2010.  Sue Chiarmonte seconded. All in favor, passed. Treasurer’s Report:  Sue Chiarmonte reported the available balance as of February 9, 2010 is $18,045.86. Outstanding Checks total $4,359.00. Scholarship fund account balance is $82.83. Account to be replenished back to $3000.00.  $10,000 needs to remain in the Booster Club account at the end of the 2009-2010 Season. Old Business:  - CHAMPPS: Received and deposited check for $87.34 to Booster Club Account - Team Tournament Reimbursements: All teams have been reimbursed  New Business: - Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser: “Pucks & Pancakes” Presentation by Randy, AVS Grill Manager randy@ssprd.org • Any Saturdays 7:30am – 10:30am • Tickets can be pre-sold for $7 ($5.00 to Booster Club, $2.00 to AVS Grill) • Public can buy at the door, we only pay $2 for actual number served • Players need to be involved and parents to help at the door • Idea is to sell tickets during try-outs and hold fundraiser during the Early Bird Tournament MOTION: David Kahn made a motion to approve hosting the Pucks & Pancakes Fundraiser. Sal Mazzara seconded. All in favor, passed. - Pins: Discussed whether pins should be 1 1/2” or 2” for next season. MOTION: Kathy Dosen made a motion to approve 1 ½ “pins for next season. Suzie Mulligan seconded. All in favor, passed. - MISC: Leslie Clark, FSC General Manager attended the meeting and stated that there would be a lot of new programs. Please check ssprd.org web-site for many up-coming opportunities. - CCYHL: Nothing to report - Raffle: Manager MOTION: Kathy Dosen made a motion to approve Greg Lomen as Raffle Manager.
