Arapahoe Warriors Youth Hockey Association

The Arapahoe Bantam B squad returned from a recent trip to Aspen with some new hardware for the trophy case and a new banner to hang in the rink.  Powered by gritty, hard hat and lunch pail style offense, suffocating defense, and superior goaltending; Bantam B went 3-0-1 to win their pool. The squad saved its best game for last, shutting out DU 3-0 in the championship game.

Upon winning his inaugural tournament with the team, Coach Sam Shooster commented, " Everyone involved had a part in our success . . .While winning the tournament was certainly a great accomplishment, I was most pleased with the improvement we showed from one game to the next. The true challenge of the season is to consistently improve and to remain hungry, never letting the highs of the season get too high, nor the lows too low. "

After a quick celebration, the team is back hard at work, preparing for a key weekend rematch against DU on the big stage of Magness Arena.
