The Arapahoe youth hockey mission is to promote, develop and administer a hockey program implemented through skill development and competition.  We recognize that there is a broad range of ability and commitment among our participants, therefore we offer both a competitive and recreational league.  We strive to provide appropriate instruction and competition to provide athletes the opportunity to participate and develop in a competitive hockey environment.

The Colorado Thunderbirds provide AAA caliber Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget players with the ice time, coaching, and training needed to establish and maintain an elite development track. The program is structured to provide players with the time needed to excel both academically as well as athletically. The foundation of the program will be based on the core values of accountability, attitude, and effort.
